Hi, I’m Dena Lurong He — a communicator, storyteller, and lifelong learner passionate about connecting people with ideas. I work as the Senior Communications Coordinator for the Department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Missouri S&T, where I help bring groundbreaking research and student achievements to light through writing, digital media, and events.

With master’s degrees in both English Language and Literature and Information Science and Technology, I love finding ways to make complex topics engaging and accessible. Whether I’m writing a press release, crafting a social media post, or organizing an academic event, I aim to create meaningful connections between research, education, and the broader community.

Outside of work, I’m a proud mom of two amazing kids and a sweet golden doodle named Dumpling. I enjoy hiking, exploring new ideas, and turning big questions into creative projects.
